This year’s edition, held under the slogan “This is a matter of the body”, focuses on the physicality and corporeality of sound as a phenomenon that connects recipients on a sensory, emotional and intellectual level. Sound in this context is not just a representation, but an authentic element existing in the concert space, in the body of the listener and through their emotions, creating a new space of shared experience.

The festival program, including concerts, performances, installations and panel discussions, offers a wide spectrum of artistic forms – from progressive contemporary music to activities on the border of visual arts, movement and speech. The physicality of sound is expressed in many ways – from intimate sound experiences to celebratory events engaging participants on many levels. The program combines contrasts, presenting recognized figures from the world of experimental music alongside young artists exploring the sound experience from different generational perspectives.

The curator of this year’s edition of the festival, Robert Piotrowicz – a composer and instrumentalist – has been exploring the boundaries of sound perception for years. As co-founder of Musica Genera, a festival and record label, he played a key role in shaping the experimental music scene in Poland. His work, including the albums “When Snakeboy is Dying”, “Lincoln Sea”, “Euzebio” and “Afterlife”, combines traditional instrumentation with electronics, creating complex soundscapes and redefining the boundaries of music.

This year’s edition of the festival also includes elements of visual arts, film and poetry, emphasizing its interdisciplinary nature as a platform for experimentation and dialogue between different fields of art.
