Museum in Process
Bożenna Biskupska and Zygmunt Rytka decided to create a space that would serve not only as their own studio but also as a place for other artists. After two years of searching, they found the perfect location in Sokołowsko. The site, formerly Dr. Brehmer’s sanatorium, was a ruin without roofs or ceilings, yet it captivated them with its imposing structure. They began a 17-year restoration process, focusing on creative work even before the building was ready for use.

Activities at this site are diverse, encompassing festivals, performance events, and artistic installations that integrate with the surroundings. Some of these interventions are permanent, others ephemeral, forming a unique collection. Although not all of them are accessible to visitors, some are already on display within the Sanatorium, such as a sculpture by Bożenna Biskupska, an installation and photography studio by Zygmunt Rytka, and the Catalog of Art Entropy—a collection of objects, sculptures, and installations created in collaboration with the Entropia Gallery by Mira Boczniowicz, Dariusz J. Gorski, Marcin Mierzicki, Jarosław Słomski, and Alicja and Mariusz Jodko.
Admission to the Museum in Process is available during festivals, events, and as part of the Spacerownia Sokołowsko. guided tour program.
